Who is Jesus? At the end of the day, this is the ultimate question. Because if Jesus is who He said He is, it changes absolutely everything. During this series, we are going to explore some of the different titles given to Jesus and allow those titles to help us better understand who He is and what that means for our lives today.

In week one, we are kicking off this series by grappling with the idea of Jesus being Immanuel, God with us. This week is intended to help our students understand that the God of the Bible is not some distant, far away Creator, but a close, compassionate Savior. Use the message notes as a resource while you prepare for your live speak.
Week two is focused on teaching our students that Jesus, God in human form, showed us what being human is all about. In our world today, our students are bombarded with the message that they need to “find their true selves,” but what Jesus shows us is that a full life comes from denying ourselves, taking up our crosses, and following Him.
During week three, we’ll be looking at Jesus as the Messiah, the chosen one of God. What we know is that because of humanity’s rebellion against God, we became infected by sin and God’s good creation was corrupted. So from the beginning, God promised a Messiah would arrive, and through this Messiah, sins would be forgiven, death would be defeated, and humanity would be reconciled to God.
For week four, we are going to look at what it means for Jesus to be King. At the very beginning and at the end of His life, Jesus was called by some the “King of the Jews.” Little did these people know that He was so much more than just the “King of the Jews.” Central to the Gospel is the kingship of Jesus. Because the Gospel is the announcement that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, our God has once again become King, His Kingdom is coming on earth as it is in heaven, and everyone is invited in.
Finally, in week five, we are closing out this series with our extra special Easter message. This experience will look very different from a typical night of Switch, so make sure to look at the resources provided! Throughout the course of the night — with small group discussions, video content, and worship — our students will walk through the overarching story of the Bible and come to better grasp the significance of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
