Why It's Important to Track Church Data

Here at Life.Church, we put a lot of stock in gathering and analyzing data throughout the organization. We use Church Metrics to keep track of all the data that's important to us—like salvations, baptisms, giving, and attendance. But what's more important than tracking data is the heart behind it. In ministry, we work hard and believe big for God to heal, save, and restore people, but if we never measure where we've been, we'll never be able to thank Him for where He's taken us. Tracking stats is nothing to be afraid of; in fact, there's a freedom in knowing the truth and seeing real, concrete growth.
