Habits of Holiness - Switch
This month at Switch, we will be talking about what it looks like to live with sexual integrity in all
aspects of life. Why are we talking about sexual integrity? Because we live in a culture that tells
us real fulfillment in life comes from being in a sexually satisfying relationship. Whether it’s the
songs we listen to, the movies we watch, or the influencers we follow, our world is promoting all
sorts of ideas about sex and sexuality that have propelled far too many people into shame,
regret, hurt, and bitterness. As followers of Jesus, we are called to something very different and
so much better.

Week 1: Remember Who You Are
Week 2: Choose Obedience
Week 3: Practice Repentance
Week 4: Give Grace to Others
In week one, we’ll begin the series by calling attention to our identity as holy people called to represent our holy God. Students will be encouraged to write out their “words to live by.” These are statements and truths to confess over themselves daily as they remember who they are.
Week two will give our students an opportunity to pre-decide their boundaries so that they do not sacrifice what they want most for what they want now. This will be a challenging and inspiring message that opens the door to great conversations.
During week three, we’re going to challenge our students to practice repentance. In doing so, we’ll look at Jesus’ teachings and the character of our loving God to help us see repentance as the channel to receiving God’s grace that it was always meant to be.
Finally, for week four, we’ll close out the series by helping students understand that one of the most holy action steps they can take is giving grace to others. The beauty of the gospel is that no matter what we’ve done or where we’ve been, God’s grace is available to all of us. And if our holy, set apart God has called us to represent Him to the world, then one of the best ways we can do that is by showing grace to others.
