This series illustrates the idea that as Christians, we sometimes have to stand up for what God says is right regardless of what our surroundings say.
It’s the year 2055. After a time of turmoil, Earth is finally at peace—but peace has come at a price. A tyrant known as The Governor leads a police state. There is no freedom, no religion, and no courage, and fear grips the world. No one is allowed to think for themselves or stand up for what's right. But one man searches for an answer...
In the first week of Witness, we learn the story of David and Goliath. David stood up to Goliath and won! Sometimes we face “giants,” but God gives us the courage to defeat them.
The second week focuses on Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They don’t worship the king when everyone else does, and then they get thrown into the fiery furnace. But God keeps them safe. Kids learn that God will give you the courage to stand up for your faith even when it seems like you’re the only one.
In week three, we look at the story of Moses. God calls Moses to do something that he doesn’t want to do because he feels insecure. But God uses Moses to perform miracles. God will give us the courage to do great things even when we doubt ourselves.
The fourth week of Witness is the story of Jesus. Jesus sacrificed Himself and died on the cross for the world He loved so much. God gives us the courage to give up things we love for things we love even more.
